Roksanda Ilincic is opening her debut flagship store in Mayfair
Roksanda Ilinic has chosen a sexy Grade II listed building on Mount Street in Mayfair because the location for her debut flagship store.
The London-based designer, whose London Fashion Week show is usually the most efficient valuable-attended at the schedule, designed the shop with British architect David Adjaye.
Speaking concerning the shop opening, Roksanda said: ‘Opening our first store is a large milestone for me. It will be important that it’s here in London, and this incredible Mount Street site is the best location.The shop stands out as the home for the logo in additional ways than one, and should be the perfect space for my vision for the label to be fully realised’.
Roksanda is renowned for her exquisite eveningwear and she or he is the go-to designer for varied celebrities – from Keira Knightley and Gwyneth Paltrow to Kate Middleton and Michelle Obama – searching for the best red-carpet dress.
To celebrate the launch of the hot store, and to neatly coincide with the Freize Art Fair that is currently in full swing in London, Roksanda has teamed up with set designer Gary card to create a special installation at the site of the brand new shop.
The installation includes a capsule selection of eight dresses and separates, inspired by the work of artist Josef Albers and may be on display for 3 weeks. The capsule collection is offered exclusively at Net-A-Porter.com
