‘I’ve had a foul education in fashion,’ the Yeezus rapper admitted within the French capital, as he compared his first few collections to ‘hopping in a Lamborghini and driving really fast’.

Now though, Kanye West thanks A.P.C founder Jean Touitou for ‘teaching me the best way to drive,’ reports WWD.

Seeming to dip more into his own wardrobe, the hot collection includes baggy cargo pants, Parka coats and a lot of stone-wash denim.

‘I’m turning out to be ready to express myself,’ Kanye West tells the craze pack in Paris. Marking himself against ‘designers [who] are making them slimmer so the pockets get smaller. You can not fit anything in them.’

‘As you’ve heard in my interviews during the last year, people was like, ‘No you can’t design, you don’t have any ideas’,’ he adds. ‘I think it’s a giant step for Jean, who’s an excessively respected designer with a minimal approach, to present me the chance.’

Explaining the intention behind his move into fashion, the rapper says: ‘As a fan you cannot wear a CD and feature someone compliment you on it, but you could with clothes. That’s why I’m doing this. It’s about giving back to the Earth.’
