And now, just once we thought the gathering couldn’t get to any extent further achingly cool, a limited edition line of original Victorian signet rings and pendants was released, each featuring literary engravings from iconic figures of the era, including Oscar Wilde, Alfred Tennyson or even Queen Victoria.
If you fancy getting your hands on this type of modern-meets-vintage heirlooms, Annina Vogel should be joined by an on-site hand engraver at Liberty from 9 September, able to create a fully gorgeous, personalised piece.

Ahead of the launch, we caught up with Annina to get the lowdown at the new line, in addition to her jewellery inspirations and the way she feels about Kate Moss wearing her designs…NL
What inspired you to create this range?
My love of Victorian wit and my obsession with jewellery from that era. i like sourcing pieces that are not necessarily appreciated of their current format after which giving them a fashionable edge – like an old unworn cufflink being converted into a regular ring.
Do you’ve a fave quote from the gathering?
I love all of them! If I needed to pick one it might be Queen Victoria’s quote: “The important thing will not be what they believe of me, but what i feel of them.” i’m wondering what that announces about me…
Is there a chunk (from this collection, or any of your work) that you’re particularly pleased with?
I have such a lot of favourites, it’s impossible to pick. But I did wear the Diamond Wings Necklace for a long time before putting it in to the cupboard. I was absolutely devastated when it sold.
Who would you adore to peer wearing your jewellery?
I had an inventory of people who I dreamed of seeing wearing my pieces and I’m very fortunate that, over the years, everyone on that list has become a consumer, starting with Kate Moss once I first launched. Kate still wears her piece from my first collection – the signature charm necklace!
Prices start from £350, and should be available from Liberty London on 9 September.
